Description:

Teradata is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build and improve intelligent AI agents powered by natural language processing and large language models (LLMs). In this role, you will design AI-driven solutions that can understand user requests, reason through tasks, and interact with enterprise data and external systems. You will work closely with product, data, and platform teams to develop production-ready AI applications, improve agent performance, and create reliable evaluation frameworks. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, NLP, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering with hands-on experience in NLP or ML systems.
• Practical experience building or integrating LLM-powered applications or AI agents.
• Experience working with SQL and relational database systems.
• Good understanding of system reliability, testing, and performance optimization.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or similar technologies.
• Prior experience delivering AI solutions in production or enterprise environments is preferred.
• Exposure to AI agent observability, benchmarking, or automated testing pipelines is an added advantage.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
